Jobsworth in a flatcap, fuck off with your poncy beers, absolute wanker
What a fucking knob
This the same BrewDog that the term brewdogging was coined for, meaning getting interviewees to solve actual problems in the company, thereby stealing free work from people looking for jobs?
Yeah, fuckem
So to paraphrase. Rich guy with passive income, thinks the people providing his passive income should do more for less, thereby maximising his passive income.
Did I get that right?
Correct. Whilst he also gets the opportunity to enjoy some work-life balance himself:
When he left the company, he mentioned plans to “take a bit of time off, to travel, to spend more time with my family and friends,”
Keep on pushing back or you’ll end up like us across the pond.
Oh look someone else who can fuck right off.
Don’t buy BrewDog beer. Got it.
This guy’s notorious for being a weapons grade prick. Absolutely not surprising he’s saying stuff like this.
Such a “punk” company and guy eh?
I bought a gin on offer the other day only to get it home and discover it was a brewdog sub brand… I felt tricked
Is this the same founder of brew dog whose female staff are told never to be in a room alone with him? Or is that the other one?
I think it’s the same guy, yeah.
Spoons and BD have been on my “do not drink at” list for a while.
This underlines the BD one for me.Wait, what’s wrong with spoons, besides the obvious?
What do you mean besides the obvious
I think they might be referring to the owners politics, specifically his very strong Leave campaign during the EU referendum. Could be wrong though.
IIRC, the owner chose to support brexit because it might mean the UK implemented minimum alcohol pricing sooner, which might have increased his trade when the gap between supermarket and pub drinking got smaller.
It really rubbed me the wrong way that was his reason.
Oh look it’s another mad psycho at the top of a company who would have fucking thought it I’ve definitely never seen that before Wowee so strange and unusual. Ban companies, ban money, put people like this out in pieces on tower bridge that’s my advice.
Move beyond that obsession, towards what, exactly? Besides, it’s not as if this apparent laziness has stopped you getting stinking rich.
He should try to open a factory with us in France.
I think this is a great idea! Perhaps he could move his whole company, its beers and himself in the process.
Going to the country where they have a tradition of shortening people who get too tall for their own good. I like that
I hope he’s right. I prefer to be among people who are obsessed with work life balance.
How dare people want to balance his quality of life with their own!
I totally agree, I think to encourage enthusiasm for work he should make all his employees equal shareholders with a stake in the business so all can benefit and run brewdog as a worker owned co-op, but something makes me think he won’t.
