It is often assumed that people of retirement age will no longer have housing costs to cover. But for a significant and growing group, this is far from the case
People don’t even understand that a free and clear house will have taxes, insurance, and other expenses. More and more housing is part of an association which has monthly dues. I think we will see big numbers of elderly homeless with gen X that will just get worse as it goes along to the succeeding generations… Much like everything else.
