Governments are mismanaging society. We need more say than centralized governments offer, because most common citizens know and can think of better paths and values than what’s enacted now.
It’s the centralization that has allowed such disrespectful politics to become the norm. Politicians only respect people who give them free stuff.
People don’t even understand that a free and clear house will have taxes, insurance, and other expenses. More and more housing is part of an association which has monthly dues. I think we will see big numbers of elderly homeless with gen X that will just get worse as it goes along to the succeeding generations… Much like everything else.
