Fairly sure that’s going to happen regardless. They will either chase the right-wing idiot vote and essentially become the same party. Or reform will eat their votershare.
It’s a no-win situation for them really. It’s 100% their fault for flirting with the hard right to begin with, if they’d not done that they wouldn’t be losing voters now. The problem is a lot of their voters have always been extremists, and have never had a party outlet for those views until now.
