I run puppy Linux 4.20 on a p3 laptop with 192 mb of ram. It’s fine. It feels as heavy as windows me. A p2 with 32 mb of ram might be a bit tough.

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
