One user complained that a random anime girl popping up is making his gf think he’s watching hentai. So the mascot should be changed to something “normal”.
I personally feel like K8s has a purpose but not in homelab since our infrastructure is usually small. I don’t need clever load-balancing or autoscaling for most of my work.
I wrote my own but it’s manageable. I use mods, resource packs, data packs and have a whitelist. I make sure to backup the compose file from time to time.

All from the terminal but works very nice.
If you virtualize, you’ll have to deal with the overhead. Unless you’re not running anything high-throughput, this approach is fine.
