I think you can even do it in Organic Maps itself? In OsmAnd definitely.
OpenStreetMap data is exactly as good as volunteers made it.
I still do, but I’m not very young anymore, most people who regularly use TikTok are probably younger than me.

sorry, I probably should have checked, I have no objection to mods deleting this thread if this violates the rules here
I participated in a discussion similar to this recently here on the German-language community: https://discuss.tchncs.de/post/28281369/15510510
Topics that were raised there by various people, some by me (read the full discussion if you can read German):
One important aspect that nobody raised in that discussion is that moderation is different from censorship.
yes, gemeinnützig = serving the public benefit (literally approximately: gemein = common, nützig = useful, i.e. useful to the common good)
GmbH is just the (almost literal) translation of LLC.
gGmbH = gemeinnützige Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung = limited liability company serving the public benefit
At least on mine, there’s an “About” link on the bottom left side on the web interface, click that and scroll to the bottom where you’ll get a list of blocked servers, then just uncollapse that and ctrl+f for “threads.net”.
I followed my city’s feed so that I am regularly reminded of the weather and don’t have to actively check a source for it. Let’s see how long I follow it.
Most people live at least somewhere near a city that doesn’t usually get radically different weather than where they do live.

Works for me, no idea what you’re seeing or talking about
me too, I loved Verdana before I discovered FOSS and DejaVu Sans is basically FOSS Verdana
For Python definitely PyCharm.
Pokémon taught children everywhere that if they enter strangers’ houses without warning, the strangers might randomly give them useful objects that help them in life.
I intentionally didn’t register on big instances like lemmy.world or mastodon.social in order to avoid being part of obvious places to censor.
Ideally, the fediverse will help people in censorious countries access information their governments don’t want them to see, but I am not too optimistic, I used to think that about the entire Internet and look where we are now, governments around the world are very much managing to control the spread of information on it.
KDE is a community of developers.
KDE Plasma is the desktop environment made by the KDE community.
This has been the correct terminology since 2009, much longer than “the past year or so”, but a lot of people do still call KDE Plasma just “KDE” colloquially, so maybe you have just been noticing people using the correct terminology more recently.
