Same, about 2-3 times over the years. Had to start over each time because I forgot everything. Just looking at the map gave me anxiety because it was just so much. I’m an OCD completionist, so I have to do everything, visit every place, collect everything. That game was just overwhelming. Everything else about it was great though.

5·1 year agoWhat a giant fucking piece of e-waste. Disposable vapes are stupid and harmful to the environment. Buy a vape that has replaceable cartridges/pods.

2·2 years agoI currently run 2 of these xeon CPUs in my server. When I specced it out I was looking at about $300/year of energy usage and that was running at like 50% capacity daily. The thing has half the cores disabled because I currently don’t need that much compute and the only thing running on it daily is TrueNAS. It has ran multiple game servers and labs in the past few months and still doesn’t use that much compute. Really just depends what you’re doing with it.

6·2 years agoAnd this is why I fight moving to the cloud constantly. They keep jacking prices too, so it is no longer cheaper to move infrastructure to the cloud except in certain scenarios.

I’m not sure why schools are allowing unfettered access to the internet on school devices.
