3 months agoAre you sure? Last time I checked it just gives you a pop-up asking if you’re sure you want to use that word as some people can find it problematic and if you say yes it’ll get posted like a normal tweet.
I prioritize ethics over optics even if it means facing criticism.

To my knowledge, twitter doesn’t block anyone from using slurs to begin with. I’m sure you can find plenty used on daily basis on “black twitter” for example.

41·7 months agoI don’t mind this at all. My friends already are not interested in anything I say so I might aswell chat with the AI like I already do with chatGPT.
Lemmy definitely is by-far the best platform to keep up with what’s going on on twitter.
I feel so wise now for having landed as an user of both independently
But how do we hate-follow Elon then? We need our daily dose of outrage after all.
