Where is Disco Elysium on all these lists? 🤨
Blasphemous 2
I do not agree that the second is better than the first after playing one after another, but that might be because the way the store evolved made the bosses less interesting to me on the second game.
It seems you care enough to make your first comment on Lemmy!
What the heck people, would you interact with people like this in person?

I use Librewolf as my daily driver, however it breaks a lot of websites. We had to purchase plane tickets yesterday and to use regular Firefox.
I was super hyped for Ladybird but there was this weird thing regarding pronouns on their docs (last year?) and no matter the outcome, I just decided to not follow it anymore.
I have Chromium installed for things that break even on regular Firefox and for comparing websites when I need.
On mobile (grapheneOS), I am currently using Firefox Nightly, I think because it was the only one I was able to install extensions from custom repositories, I am not sure if that’s still the case. I know I can (and should use) Vanadium, but I always miss my FF extensions when I do it. I play a lot of things so I love when I am automatically redirected from Fandom to a Breeze wiki instance, for example.
I never tried any other browsers of the list, and honestly I am very curious on the differences between Librewolf and Waterfox. Wasn’t able to do the research by myself yet.

I have been using Logseq for a few years now and in my case collaboration is welcome. Me and my spouse are using AnyType for this currently (We tried using Vikunja and Planka but didn’t like them). I thought about having a shared Logseq graph but I have been having issues with the Logseq git plugin and I abhor the idea of uploading our personal notes to GitHub.
I searched about Standard Notes and it seems they even got purchased by Proton last year, but as soon as I open their webpage I got greeted by at least 5 AI images.
One that I heard about recently is Joplin. It is very similar to Evernote.
Sima (Simona Vetter) quotes “Being toxic on the right side of an argument is still toxic, […]” while being toxic
If you are replying with “isn’t this the guy” it means you didn’t bother to read the post, which also removes the merits of you questioning if what he is claiming is fiction or not.
But people on HN provided context and it indeed seem he was stalked and harassed, but through his VTuber persona and there was even a GDocs document with the details.
Edit: His VTuber persona is Asahi Lina
T (they/she)@beehaw.orgto Gaming@beehaw.org•The PlayStation Network outage proves PC gamers were right to resist its mandatory sign-in requirement3·4 months agoThe difference is that if you have your files you still can play the games if GoG goes under, while steam games will be unplayable because they need to communicate to steam (or have steam offline on your PC). I heard that steam drm is easy to remove but I don’t have much knowledge in that regard
I was fine with the wallpapers until the AI rocket

T (they/she)@beehaw.orgto Linux@lemmy.ml•Asahi Linux Lead Developer Hector Martin Steps Down As Upstream Apple Silicon Maintainer492·4 months agoDamn, Linus really went out of his way to say:
How about you accept the fact that maybe the problem is you. You think you know better. But the current process works. It has problems, but problems are a fact of life. There is no perfect. However, I will say that the social media brigading just makes me not want to have anything at all to do with your approach. Because if we have issues in the kernel development model, then social media sure as hell isn’t the solution. The same way it sure as hell wasn’t the solution to politics. Technical patches and discussions matter. Social media brigading - no than\k you.
T (they/she)@beehaw.orgto Steam Deck@sopuli.xyz•My SO got a steamdeck today, and it's a lot better than I imagined it to be3·4 months agoFirst of all, thank you for the reply. I always wondered if we could use our Steam Deck for pretty much everything since we have a dock plugged on our TV, but since we have been using the Nvidia Shield Pro as our media player for more than 5 years, I didn’t get out of my way to inform myself.
The Shield Pro was amazing at the start, until the stock launcher started showing ads (we currently avoid them by using an app for Android TVs called Productivity Launcher).
You must ensure you’re using a client that can use the codec in question
Yeah, this is the reason we had to stop using Jellyfin client and switched to Kodi. I think the jellyfin didn’t have support for pass through for the codec our movie was using and Kodi worked fine.
Is there a specific codec you’re concerned about losing access to?
Mainly Douby Atmos/Vision and such. We currently have our 4k TV connected with eARC to our Soundbar and the soundbar connected to the Shield. The only other thing we connected to the soundbar was our Nintendo Switch dock since I couldn’t make surround work otherwise. PS5 surround works fine connected to the TV and I think SD does too (I will need to test it later because I am unsure and I can’t remember).
Thinking about it now I think I do need to at least setup a way to play our stuff from Jellyfin on our SDs using Tailscale, this way we can access our stuff while traveling. At this moment we only access it away from home from our phones to listen to music.
T (they/she)@beehaw.orgto Steam Deck@sopuli.xyz•My SO got a steamdeck today, and it's a lot better than I imagined it to be3·4 months agoWill you have access to all codecs as well though? This is the main reason we still keep our Nvidia Shield around from years ago
I don’t know why but even if I am setting my own wallpapers I still get to see the stock ones (when booting, etc), it pisses me off because it is clearly AI made and it seems the community around eOS likes them and even make worst ones on their forum
If you don’t mind AI slop wallpapers every time you upgrade your system. I can’t wait to get rid of eOS on my desktop and just use regular Arch

Don’t take me wrong, he is in his right of blocking whoever he wants, but it would just make me feel bad how some interactions would go with him.

Thank you for the detailed reply.
I am indeed considering using the peerbanhelper. I will install it and see how it works.
I didn’t say DHT was strictly something specific to Stremio. I mentioned it was what was being suggested by people trying to solve the issue, but I indeed didn’t find anything to support it.
I changed the upload choking algorithm, thank you for the suggestion.
I am aware of !piracy@lemmy.dbzer0.com but I’d rather avoid the AI slop.
