While I’m unfamiliar with Arch I am with steam.

Use custom commands to launch! If it’s working just fine on heroic launcher you can actually add the game into your launcher its known to work in like for instance heroic launcher games can be added to steam just do the reverse.

I’d look into the log file which requires a command in steam to see and look what error its throwing that’ll nail it down exactly then you know what to do to fix the issue.

To do this you have to manually add the custom command under your specific game in the steam, game, cog wheel, properties maybe, then you’ll find a tab called commands or something it’s just a single line text box. Add this exactly. PROTON_LOG=1 %command%

The file should go to your home folder somewhere you’ll have to look possibly under steam folder. There’s all kinds of these steam commands online for every issue so if this tells you nothing simply look for steam commands based on your issue and run a few till you nail it down. Best of luck! FYI AMD is usually rock solid Nvidia is where a lot of issues come in, so its not your hardware so don’t trip on that. All AMD for the win. I have a 6700xt as well so I’m usually spot on with knocking out bugs.

Sounds like a US home lol Welcome to modern quality control where things went downhill instead of up like modern society thinks. You can actually quantify this. Look at sales of vintage and old goods. Their prices are very high and have a high demand. Modern plastic and construction has gotten of poorer quality.

Insulation well good insulation is wildly expensive but saves most of all its the largest expense usually.

I wouldn’t waste your time with a half ass product. I’ve done quite a bit if research into this. I find Garmin to have the best overall watches with a good privacy policy last I looked. Make fake account and log no important info in that matches you such as age leave blank and other main identifiers. Even obscure gender if you want. Opt for a watch that has no microphone and disable gps if you want. Check out the Garmin tactix 7 I believe us their current. Ability to completely wipe the watch with a button. Stealth mode with no wireless connectivity for military. Its very legit in how it operates. 28 day battery life even longer if you get the solar glass.

Shop second hand for price reduction. Their warranty is second to none, don’t like that color they change it, don’t like the band they’ll send you any bands you want, have an issue, total replacement, they even let you keep the original until the new one arrives so your not out anything. Not a shill just a no frills company from my experience.

I’m definitely into cinnamon more than the other two. Thanks for the link. I was about to try the XFCE until I seen that. Glad I didn’t waste my time. I’ve got decent hardware so not too concerned about the extra ram etc. I just with cinnamon has KDE customization without getting buggy once you pile on 10 different extensions.

What’s the difference between this and cinnamon?

While I hate windows as much as the next person. I still keep it around for some off the wall games that need anticheat. Don’t sweat the downvotes. Windows spyware sucks but not everyone needs tails and whonix/qubes.

My wallpaper and lock screens reset every time I restart. It borked my dual boot and now when I boot in the boot menu I have Fedora and Bazzite. No more windows. I still see it in the partition so I guess I just got to recover my windows. The install was a pain in the ass getting an error every time. So far on install I had to remove my old Linux mint EFI and rewrite a new one for bazzite. Gaming has worked no issues but its not been the smoothest transition. I kept getting an error code fatal error message. Had to terminal in to fix it before it would install. Had I known it was gonna be this much of an issue id have reinstalled mint which is a breeze just plug and click.

But I got aggravated when I needed to create a bootable USB and couldn’t figure out how in bazzite. In mint you simply right click the file and click make bootable USB or whatever it says. I love mint. I reinstalled mint on a family members PC because they had my tweaked till I broke it copy. It just works out the box for all our games. Programs are easy to find and labelled so you know what they are unlike bazzite. Its much more refined and polished. Simple. LM for the win! Not knocking bazzite but it seems like a too new unrefined distro. IMO.

I’ve wanted this game for so long. I’m just too unsure if its worth the tag on steam. I’ve heard it was monotonous, is this true? Has it came a long way?

How true is this? This is kinda what turns me away. We all want shit that just works and if it breaks it’ll update and be new again.

What about nobara? I’m currently using Mint but considering Popos. Any advice? I just want whichever distro works out of the box with no tweaking. I’m the type to just wanna turn on and play. I have to reinstall my mint due to tweaking which I did myself. Advice?

Is 5600x 6700xt considered old? Worked fantastic out of the box for all of my friends and family.
