I don’t have a Steam Deck and probably won’t get one, but I’m glad they exist, as it has made Linux gaming in general much better supported and simpler.
That’s a shame. They’re definitely [edit: mostly] not actively making the country worse, which is already a huge win over Conservatives, but it’s a shame they’re not doing more to make it better.

I only have one, a 16 inch, 120hz, 16GB RAM, 1660 Ti laptop, so it’s got to be that. I do like it, though.

Yeah, you can run any Windows program such a QEMU/KVM, and you can additionally run many Windows apps/games with WINE/Proton respectively
Tbh it also fooled me initially, KDE Plasma does look very similar to win10. I had to read the community and look at the Plasma icon rather than Windows icon to see.
Its just a machine though, you can flash it with any distro you like.
Surely that’s your choice though? I mean, if you want to use FOSS software, Android is the platform of choice, and, except for a few niche circumstances (which it’s fine if you’re one of, just say), people choose which phone they have.
You can also use OneDrive on the native file explorer if you sign into GNOME with your Microsoft account
