I thought they looked like the dock spiders we have in Minnesota, turns out they’re the same thing. Utterly terrifying but completely harmless.
I’m not sure if it’s what you’re looking for but I use Infuse on the ATV for the times the Plex client can’t play a file, usually because it’s DV format.
After 14 years of Tory cuts I doubt the attacker could’ve accessed treatment even if he wanted to.
but the problem is that “make it publicly owned” means “buy out their shares” which is giving them a bailout
The shares would be almost worthless.
plus “service all the debt the company is in” which is another bailout
Nope, the company would be wound up.
Bail them out? Nah, make it publicly owned.
You pass legislation to make the company unprofitable by making it fulfill it’s obligation to invest in infrastructure to the point where the funds run for the hills.
That would be the Liz Truss that added thousands to everyone’s mortgages. It’s amazing the shit that the British will take from politicians.
Can you give an example?
Why would you assume that?
“real power” to me, is being able to make the government craft legislation that suits you. I can’t do that, can you?
How many is too many?
That was the first result that popped up. There are more.
Charles is not Putin. I’m pretty firmly in the “overthrow the monarchy camp”, but that’s different from wanting an essentially harmless figurehead of an old man to have cancer.
Who wants him to have cancer? You said they have no real power, I showed that they do. Obviously they can’t have people thrown out of windows but that wasn’t the point I was making.
The monarchy has no real power
"The Queen successfully lobbied the government to change a draft law in order to conceal her “embarrassing” private wealth from the public, according to documents discovered by the Guardian.
A series of government memos unearthed in the National Archives reveal that Elizabeth Windsor’s private lawyer put pressure on ministers to alter proposed legislation to prevent her shareholdings from being disclosed to the public.
Following the Queen’s intervention, the government inserted a clause into the law granting itself the power to exempt companies used by “heads of state” from new transparency measures.
The arrangement, which was concocted in the 1970s, was used in effect to create a state-backed shell corporation which is understood to have placed a veil of secrecy over the Queen’s private shareholdings and investments until at least 2011."
So people are just going to wait for the battery to run down and then go do something else?
Are you aware that you can plug the battery into a power source and use the headset for as long as you want while the battery charges at the same time?
I’d bet that people who are stealing food probably aren’t stealing it to resell.
Some are, especially those with substance abuse issues.
"Philp attended the selective St Olave’s Grammar School in Orpington, Kent, and then studied physics at University College, Oxford. In 1996 he was editor of the Oxford University student newspaper, Cherwell.
Philp worked for McKinsey & Company before co-founding distribution business Blueheath Holdings, in 2000. It was floated on the AIM before merging with Booker Cash & Carry as part of the Booker Group in a £375 million deal.
With fellow future Conservative Party MP Sam Gyimah, he founded Clearstone Training and Recruitment Limited, an HGV training provider, which went into liquidation owing nearly £4 million to its customers, many of which were long term unemployed. Philp also founded property development lender Pluto Finance and Moreof Silverstone, which are registered in Jersey. He founded the charity The Next Big Thing, which was dissolved due to insolvency" - Wikipedia
Real man of the people right there. An authority on how to get by with little income.
The last guy to suggest something like that got branded an antisemitic commie and was kicked out of the party.
