I love the steamdeck and it is a rare purchase were I am satisfied with it, the official dock however has been a huge disapointment. Mine has been iffy with recharching. Thing is it was intermittent enough that it took awhile to notice. Seems to be the cable as futzing with it eventually causes it to charge. The the display not working then makes it mostly useless.

back on cyberpunk 2077 but I only have so much time to play so I can be on things and go back and forth for awhile.

at first I thought this required hosting but it looks like maybe its stand alone software now. Am I right or did I misunderstand the site?

Im not sure if your looking for a simple install and go type of setup but I often recommend zorinos as the free community type edition mimics the feel of windows and it comes with wine and play on linux from the get go. its a ubuntu using gnome spin so it sounds like it would work for you.

They were great in the aughts. Once the iphone became the flagship it went downhill. Believe it or not at one point macphiles bragged about how many more ports they had than typical windows machines and how much more powerful they were spec wise.

went back in cyberpunk. restarted with the mod to make ability checks static to get rid of the. not enough tech, level to increase tech, check is now higher and not enough tech thing. Man I wish they would make an update where you could skip the whole shard memories playing as silverhands in arasaka bombing thing. It would help a lot in replayability since no matter what you do its the exact same experience.

Ive been hoping they would refresh their vr offering after getting their steamdeck going and then follow and every other cadence.

isn’t that supposed to be based on nextstep which is also what osx is based on?

generally I end up checking some results and often changing the search with new keywords but all the same I generally am doing follow up questions similarly. Im betting to any energy the ai uses to check web destinations is likely not included which would be the same as I going to a destination. maybe less if its more of a crawl or api. Any way you slice it its going to be more I think.

yeah I mean by that standard anything a person like that uses is going to be an issue. They can be useful but im worried about the power they use although I wonder how much power that is realtive to be searching different blogs for 10 or 20 minutes.

so is search. I mean I would not click the first link from a search and then copy and paste code from the site into my project no questions asked. similarly you can look over what the ai comes up with and see if it makes sense. same you would do with some dudes blog. you can also check the references it gives or ask it to expand on some part. hey what does the function X do. I really don’t see it as being worse than search.

I really don’t get how its different than a search engine. Granted its surprising how often I have to give up in disgust and just go back to normal search but pretty often they can find more relevant stuff faster
