XVI’s graphics are no joke–by far the most detail I’ve ever seen in any game. It’s never gonna run well. I’m impressed it’s running at all.

Wow! This is worthless!
Used ThinkPad or Framework laptop should be a copypasta at this point.

I daily drive macOS and Android. GNOME is more like Android to me. Feels too touch focused, where Plasma feels like something actually made for a desktop.
Librewolf is Firefox on crack. Mullvad is Librewolf on crack.
Or Startpage. Mojeek. Searx. Qwant. The lot…
I absolutely shit on crypto forever until actually reading into it. Alas, new things are too scary for conservatives most people to consider. I’m glad I grew up, being able to recognise Bitcoin as a genuine effort at creating a good thing instead of a fad.
Calyx. It just works. I’ve honestly just used it like stock Android, using as many private apps as possible. It’s so fun seeing all the cool little projects not on iOS! I just recently discovered Petals, which helps with measuring THC intake.
Such a Steve Ballmer being CEO moment
I’ve been supporting Wikipedia with a monthly $5 donation. By now, ~$150 in total! I want to support all kinds of great projects, but I don’t have an infinite amount of money to share between everything that exists 😔
I might switch to a monthly donation to The Internet Archive just because of how crucial its existence is.
The Gods be damned it can run Crysis
I thought everyone forgot this existed. Apparently not.
The OLED model takes the original and turns it from great to excellent.
I don’t know how weak you’re talking, but Horizon Zero Dawn has that same engaging, high skill ceiling combat that BOTW/TOTK does. The minimum specs don’t look too bad, and the game is quite well optimised. Forbidden West is probably a no-go, though, and it’s a much better game which serves as a true direct sequel. They’re great if you like story, too.
Everyone else has already made great suggestions too. This was the only different suggestion I could make.

This one’s really worth looking in to. I might try it out. Thanks!
Look, if it becomes enough of an issue for me, I’ll learn how to create software.
XVI’s animations (outside of important scenes) is not up to par with the older Horizon: Forbidden West, though. Comparing any game to Forbidden West’s motion capture is like putting it through a meat grinder. It’s dead. Wish XVI didn’t border on “high quality animations” syndrome, sometimes.
