Also how many of those are on actual arable land. I’ve seen animal fields add solar not sure how many actually usable fields are being converted.

What’s wrong with the library? Or their school?
I get the point but wasn’t this them staying at the property for a while, not just a place to revise? Can’t expect the kid to sleep over at school.
It is just very stupid politically from Starmer, he had to have known it would be found out and compared to the Tories. Surly he has the money to put him up in an Airbnb or something instead.
Except it’s Tesco so they’ll just raise the price of bread and milk or something to cover it
Or just a retired couple/person still living in their 4 bedroom family house spending loads just to heat it.
I get people don’t want to leave a house they been in for 20-40+ years but ultimately we should be encouraging downsizing to help free up a little bit of family housing.
No, I don’t think any of the land has been sold yet. They started the process, but it takes ages and can be stopped if Labour wants to.
Imagine being able to shit on command, that’s like a super power.
Shhh, don’t tell them
Whenever I’m in London I’m shocked by how many people are driving about. It must be so miserable doing that everyday, especially when the public transportation is so good.
So this means the sun won’t immediately blame everything on labour after the election, right? Right?
He can agree with the referendum and say we won’t join whilst he’s leader. But to say lifetime is a long fucking time
I don’t think this is true. Last I heard they might be in the process of trying to sell, but that takes time due to bidding and making sure the value is right and all that comes with government stuff. Labour could still cancel the sales I think
And also the 40 odd years of “DIY” bodge jobs holding it all together
From what I’ve seen following the BBC reporting and a bit of others reactions is seems ok. I think some people will be disappointed that there’s nothing ground breaking or revolutionary like the Greens manifesto, but personally I’m fine with it.
The railways, net zero, and bringing back the 2030 petrol and diesel ban back are the bits that I think will get overlooked but are great policies.
And it’ll bite him on the arse when he finds out lots of people can no longer afford holidays abroad in the school holidays
It’s starting to feel like an election is coming sooner rather than later with this and Sunak’s speech thing the other day
New Star GP looks quite cool. Could be a nice pick up and play but with enough content for longer sessions.
I didn’t watch the full video (at work) so sorry if it was mentioned, but for anyone fancying burnout paradise, the old game (not remaster) does not use the EA launcher so you can avoid that mess.
Picked up warhammer Boltgun during the fps sale. Never been into warhammer or played this style of game before but loving it so far. Also playing Stardew Valley on a new farm for the 1.6 update
How does it play on the steam deck? Played it on PC and loved it but never completed the story. With 2 announced I’d love to jump back in
I get the feeling they didn’t actually want to win London by picking her. There was no way she had a chance. Either that or there is just no normal politicians left in the Tory party and she’s the best they had.
The advertising is a massive one. If you were trying to recover from a gambling addiction, you wouldn’t be able to watch any sport on TV. Every advert, especially late at night, is about betting.
