I agree although presumably when you add more devices and types of signal you can build a much richer picture without 3 access points.

For example, in my living room I have a cordless landline, Bluetooth soundbar speaker, WiFi access point, a fixed media box that uses WiFi. Presumably you could build a picture from the interference patterns of these different types of device, which are all on similar frequencies (2.4GHz ish).

It’s also possible I’m wrong, I never played the games before CIV6 (or not enough to learn them), but on Fdroid it’s described as an “Open source 4X civilization-building game” which I assumed means it’s a CIV4 clone.

Either way, it’s a good game - one of the best open source mobile games for sure.

It’s not possible for that to happen in the UK without a further bill in Parliament. I believe in Canada the law has changed as a result of decisions by the courts.

Politicians haven’t done a U-turn on Brexit because basically everyone outside of a small % of highly political people is sick of talking about it, so making it your platform to restart the debate would be a massive own goal.

Interesting, I think it’s different for structural engineering because you’re doing calculations in accordance with a code of practice and the spreadsheet needs to be adapted to tweak the inputs and outputs of a standard formula and apply it slightly differently for different bridges / structural arrangements. I’ve written loads of spreadsheets that have been used and adapted by other people in my company, I honestly don’t think they are that difficult to understand (or people wouldn’t have been able to build on them and adapt them).

I can see that lab software is quite different, especially if you have very well defined procedures and you are repeating exactly the same test again and again with the same inputs and outputs.
