I tried warp but it was actually laggy and slow. Also I don’t like the account idea, but I was willing to let it slide if they built a much better terminal than what we have.
They didn’t.
As long as their goals suite the company, sure. The endgame of Google is very clear and it doesn’t include a free and open web.
Friends don’t let friends use windows man. :p
He was 22 years old. Pretty incredible.
Thank you, I will check it out. :)
Is this similar to obsidian, or?
I know, because most people are lazy, ignorant and stupid. :)
Yes, hardware support for things like video capture, that is the danger zone. :)
The average old person perhaps. Young people are not afraid of change in most cases. They don’t have that barrier of thinking learning something new is difficult. It just happens as they click around. And they have friends, and they ask their friends. Just like we did when we were young. I don’t think you asked your dad how to use windows… :)
I honestly think that if you would have Linux on laptops and you gave it to young people, they would have no problems finding out how to install programs and use the web browser. And that’s the start of the learning experience.
Maybe I am? Maybe I’m one of those people… Better downvote me just in case. :)
I don’t understand the difficulty. My kid who used Windows for at least 7 years installed Ubuntu and just started using it. Why is this difficult for people? I helped him boot the computer from a USB stick and that’s it.
Here is the app store, install programs from here.
Ok.
The Muslims are way ahead of us on this one, showing the way with the hijab and burka.

It really isn’t magic, which is exactly why Linux is so amazing. You can use any tiling window manager and it will act the same way. It will detect the screen of the device and give you ways of altering it to your liking with a few lines of text. And it’s all documented how to do it.
Icecat is a really awkward name. :)
Looking at my open source model downloaded from the internet…
Yes?
3 more will do it! :p
I work in that space and I’ve been consulting for many tech companies. It’s always a mess behind the scenes. Many of them don’t have ci/cd or testing environments. It’s kind of funny because the public image is always excellent. :)
Even Amazon and those big tech champions are running devops into the ground. This is public knowledge at this point…
That thing will survive a nuclear war…
